Sesshomaru was sitting on the floor of his and Kagome's apartment. He was

reading a magazine. Kagome would be coming home from work soon. Then

he could ask her.

Kagome walked in the door from a hard days of work. She had on her tan

capries, and her favorite black shirt with a pink one over the top so you could

see the black one around her mid-drift and arms. She had most of her hair

down except for three small braids on each side of her head. When she shut

the door she noticed Sesshomaru was sitting in the middle of the living room

reading a magazine with only his tan loung pants and a pair of white socks

on. She also noticed that he had the dog tag, that hung from a silver chain,

she bought for him as a joke. Ever since she got it for him when he first came

to her world, he hadn't taken it off. She loved the way it set off his long silver

hair. When he was in there apartment he let his seal drop and showed off his

beautiful markings. He had two magenta stripes on each cheek and a blue

cresent moon on his forhead.

She kicked her shoes off, then pulled her socks off and put them in her shoe

in case she left later.

"Hey Sesshomaru how was your day?" Kagome asked as she sat next to him

on the floor and pulled her legs in to sit indian style like he was.

"It was not to productive. I sat here and read mostly." Sesshomaru answered

as he stared at her hair.

"How boring. What?" She asked as she noticed he was staring at her hair.

"I like your hair like that." He said reaching out and running his hand through

the braids on her right side.

"Oh. Do you want one? I could do yours you know." She said looking in his

golden eyes with her baby blues.

"If you must." He said acting like he didn't care either way.

"Well if you don't want me to touch your precious hair then I won't." She

huffed and turned and folded her arms across her chest.

"I didn't say that." He said pulling her towards him. He took her chin between

his pointer finger and thumb and turned her head to face him. "I would like

one." He said softly.

"Okay." She said turning to start his braid.

She pulled all his hair to one side and braided it loosely. When she got half

way done he ran his fingers through her hair again and played with her braids.

When she was finished she said, "There." The braid layed on his chest over

his shoulder because of the way she braided it.

"Thank you, Koi." He said as he leaned in and gave her a quike kiss before he

got up and left the room.

"Hey where are you off to?" Kagome yelled into there room.

"Out I have a date." He said as he stuck his head out of the room with a evil

smirk. "I need to get dressed."

"DATE!  What do you mean date. With who?" Kagome yelled stomping into

the room he was changing in.

He turned to look at her and said, "Yes, date and I'm going with my beautiful

mate. Who needs to put something else on by the way." He siled then went to

the bathroom to finish getting ready.

"You are a jerk." She said running around the room getting ready for there

'date'.

He peaked out of the bathroom and said, "I know."
