Prologue!

The Shikon jewel is the only jewel like it in this world. That is why all the elders have decided that the safest place for it to be hiden is in the next protector. There have been five before this one. The protector is always a female, and she has the powers to protect it within herself even though they do not tell her she is its protector.

Every 50 years they move it as to keep it out of the hands of the worst thieves in this world. They are a family of Inu demons. They have been around trying to get the Shikon jewel since it first surfaced. The elders were the ones who decided where the jewel would hide next, nobody knew who they were and they liked it that way. This time around they chose the Higurashi infant. She was to be born in two days. They had just enough time to implant the jewel within her.

Chapter 1!

Five years later...

In the yard to the Higurashi shrine there was a small girl no older than five, she was sitting by the sacred tree, playing with a doll. Hiding behind the storage shed was a young teen, by the looks of him, he wasnt any older than 13. He was watching his target. His father had assigned the capture of Kagome Higurashi to him. The take down would begin in ten years. He had that long to study her everyday life, in order to take her down.

"Kagome Higurashi!" A loud female voice yelled from the back sliding door.

"Yes mama!" Kagome yelled back. "Im coming." She arose from her sitting position in the grass by the tree and ran to her mama.

The young teen watched, amazed at how graceful this five year old child was. His stoic face watched, as she stood and ran to her mother. Behind him he heard his annoying brother trying to sneak up on him, again.

"Why do you even try?" He said to the on coming attack.

"Man I cant believe you heard me. I was really quite this time." A younger looking boy whinned. He had the same silver hair as the older, and the same golden eyes. The only diffrence was the older had pointed elvin ears where the younger had dog shaped ears at the top of his head.

"Inuyasha you should know by now you can not sneak up on me." The older boy said as he lead the younger, now known as Inuyasha back to there car that would take them home.

When they got to the car Inuyasha complained to the man in the back seat that looked axactly like the older boy only was much older still. "Dad, Sesshomaru's cheating."

"I am not you little twerp." Sesshomaru said, giving his brother a wack upside his head. "You just need to learn to quiet your steps more."

"Ow! Dad!" Inuyasha whinned as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Boys." The older man said sturnly. "Sesshomaru dont pick on your brother, Inuyasha stop whining." He then sat back in his seat and waited for his sons to settle in the car, so they could head home and Sesshomaru could give his full report.

Ten years later...

"Kagome your gonna be late!" Her mother yelled up the stairs to her fifteen your old daughter.

Kagome stuck her head out of her bedroom door and yelled back, "Im almost ready. Give me five more minutes!" She went back to drying off from her shower and getting dressed. Kagome went to her dresser and turned her Cd player on and blasted her favorite song, singing along while she got dressed.

"A wintry sky and the broken streetlight cold wind.
Unknown shadow the footprint of desertion.
Freedom was taken." She tried to sound just like Ruki but it is really hard to speak Ruki english. She pulled a pair of blck faded jeans on, with holes in the knees. Then jumped up and down at the next part of the song.

"An understanding is impossible 8X." Then pulled her white socks on, and black converse shoes, while she laced up her shoes she sang the next verse.

"If it wakes up a gloomy ceiling. A laughing voice sinks in the eardrum it is soiled.
And violence rapes me. Rapes me. Rapes me." She put on her favorite black GazettE shirt, then added a black wrist band and her silver chain. She sang along with the rest of the song as she did her hair and makeup.

"An understanding is impossible 8X
Why was I chosen? Someone should answer...

A laughing voice sinks in the eardrum a faint temperature is mixed in the midwinter.

When she was finished she had her long black hair up in a high ponytail, and she had black eye liner with some lip gloss to finish off her master peice. On her way out of her room she grabbed her black and white wind jacket and back pack and left for school.

"Alright mom I'm off!" She yelled on her way out the door.

"Okay honey see you after school!" Her mother yelled back to her.

Sesshomaru was just putting the finishing touches to his outfit for the day when his hurricane of a sibling came crashing into his room.

"Hey Dad said you need to hurry you have to get her before she gets to school." Inuyasha teased.

"Why must you be so annoying?" Sesshomaru asked collecting his rings and placing them on his fingers.

He looked at himself one more time in the mirror and decided he liked what he saw. He wore his long silver hair back in a braid, he had a blue button up unbuttoned with a white tanktop on under it. Around his neck was his favorite silver chain. He had on Khaki pants with two pockets on the legs along with the ones at his sides. He put his wallet in one of the back ones. Before he left his room he slid on tan Timberlands. "You better not touch anything freak." He yelled over his shoulder as he left the room.

Inuyasha shrugged and left his brothers room but not before knocking over his stack of books on his desk, "Oops." He laughed as he went to get ready for his training.

Sesshomaru was in the car his dad got him for his human eighteenth birthday, he hated having to wait to drive just cause of stupid human laws. He looked twenty three but he was really in his late fifties. He was slowly following behind Kagome who was walking to school, he stayed back far enough so she wouldnt get suspicious, he had to wait until she turned down the alley which she always did, it was a short cut to her school.

As soon as she turned down the alley he pulled over and got out. Following her down the alley at a slow pace.Kagome had her MP3 player on loud, listening to Filth in the Beauty by GazettE.  As she walked down the alley she started singing out loud,

"Your seed and my seed never mixes.
The connection of this blood is eternal.
You cannot finish suppressing the desire
To true daughter…Sexual disgrace!"

Just as she was about to start the next verse she was knocked out.

While he was following behind her he heard her start to sing out loud, he thought she had a nice voice for what she was singing.

"Good taste in music at least." He whispered to himself. "Well better get this over with." He chased after her a little faster and knocked her on the back of the head to put her out. He had a feeling she would be a wild one. He would have been right. He lifted her in his arms bridal style and carried her to his black mustang. After placing her in the passenger seat, then got in the driver side and sped off towards his house.
